Media Shower is a weekly tv show on every Saturday night at 12:30 a.m. on Manhattan Neighborhood Network [MNN] channel 34. MNN is public access-- that is, Manhattan community television. There are no commercials, and MNN producers neither pay for, nor get paid for, their shows.

MEDIA SHOWER debuted in January 1997, airing on Thursday nights at midnight. It held this timeslot for 2 years until switching to the Saturday slot in January 1999.

The show consists mainly of odd, rare or unsettling video clips, enlivened [many would say bogged down] by host Jamie Greenberg’s commentary. The New York Observer calls the show "a kind of highbrow Talk Soup."

In spite of wildly inconsistent shows, and a spotty production schedule that leads to a maddening number of reruns, the program has somehow managed to amass a devoted following in Manhattan.
