Jamie’s co-host, Nora the Dog, is a dog. She was born either December 17 or December 19, 1993. Jamie adopted her from the North Shore Animal League shortly thereafter, with the help of then-girlfriend Michelle [who can be seen on MEDIA SHOWER in the short films M’ary and My Crazy Michelle, as well as in the original show-open, which still airs (all too often) in reruns].

Nora weighs 35 lbs and understands "come," "sit", "stay" [sort of], and "where’s the ball?".

Nora is usually a very lively and cheerful dog. But, as has been pointed out on several MEDIA SHOWER episodes, Nora gets very shy whenever a video camera is pointed at her. Thus, her on-camera persona is a bit cowed and wilted. Also, she definitely doesn’t like Jamie’s tone of voice whenever he addresses the camera. Whenever Jamie begins taping a show, Nora invariably gets up and slinks out of the room.
